ANNUAL REPORT - WORSHIP
Mid-March, Sunday services smoothly transitioned to an online format with the start of quarantine. Despite never having pre-recorded services before, the tech and worship teams enthusiastically and faithfully met the challenge of worshiping Jesus and engaging with our community in this new context. With your support, we have been able to continue to passionately and consistently invite people to experience and know the love of Jesus in the midst of so much change!
Highlights:

On December 15, 2019, 120 people joined the Praise Choir as they held their first Christmas sing-a-long concert.

In February, we hired Ashley Smart as our Technical Director.

We joined in with Jesus’ lament on the cross through a new Good Friday service on Zoom.

Over 700 people have watched Gateway's online HOPE IS HERE Easter service!
SERMON SERIES HIGHLIGHTS
To grow our faith in God, we explored the complexity of emotions both in our lives and in the Christmas story during the All the Feels series
We learned more about God’s relentless love for us as seen in the minor prophets in the Home Coming: Coming home to the heart of God series
And we focused our attention on the beauty of Jesus and his relationships with others in the JESUS series during Spring 2020.
