Much like the church of today, the early church had its own songs and hymns to sing! Before songs like, “Hark the Herald Angels Sing” are the songs we find in our scriptures. These songs were not silly jingles or sentimental ballads, but powerful hymns that proclaim the deepest truths about who Christ is.
