WHAT IS ALPHA?
Everyone should have the opportunity to ask the big questions of life. What is my purpose? What happens when I die? Why is there suffering? Is there more to life than this?
Alpha is a chance to ask these big questions and explore the Christian faith in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Each session includes a short film and a discussion where you can share what you (truly) think with a small group of people. We share dinner together, listen to a talk, and engage in small group conversation.
People attend from all backgrounds, religions and viewpoints. Guests come to discuss questions about the existence of God, the purpose of life and the claims of Jesus. Some people are curious to understand what the Christian faith teaches. Others come to learn more about the God who really changes lives. No judgment. No preaching. No pressure.

Many guests have never been to church, others may have attended church occasionally but feel they have never really understood the basics of the Christian faith or simply aren't able to articulate why they believe what they believe. Everyone is welcome to #TryAlpha!
